Atlas, Lindsey, Pretzel & Sweet Potato

Atlas's tummy seems to be feeling better. Poor guy had several accidents yesterday. Missy did all the visits but the morning visit as I am sick :( She even snuck in an extra afternoon visit to check on Atlas. Everything appears back to normal with him and the others are doing great as usual.

Molly

Molly was in heaven today as 3 of the 4 of us are home sick so she gots lots of attention and snuggles. She is a great heating pad! The weather was beautiful today so she spent a good amount of time playing in the yard with Maddox. Even Bettis (who is 13) got in on the action :)
Missy stopped by earlier which really seemed to make Molly's day. She was all wiggles and tail wags.

Doc, Jasper & Wyatt

The kitties are all doing well, Jasper even was on good behavior! Liz did the visit with them today as I am sick :( so no pictures.

Molly

Molly is currently passed out on the couch after a long day of playing and getting lots of scritches. It's hard for me to believe that she was ever wary of Maddox (ok, that really only lasted about 1/2 a day), they are the best of friends now.

Doc, Jasper & Wyatt

Well, I was quite surprised as I walked in the door today, all three kitties were in the living room. Jasper was on the table with his paws on the squirt gun which I found very funny. Doc ran upstairs as I was walking through but Wyatt followed me into the room for his food. All in all, it was a great first visit. I didn't snap any pictures today as I didn't want to freak anyone out but hopefully they will feel comfortable for me to do so soon.

Atlas has an upset tummy and had a couple accidents today. He acted normal during all visits but I am keeping a close eye on him. Everyone else is doing great :) No pictures today but hopefully I can catch a couple cute ones tomorrow.

Miss Molly

It was pretty much the usual around here- eat, sleep, play....play....play :) I wish I had their energy!
I did get a couple shots of Molly outside- one of them she was even standing still. As you can see, she loves to race around the yard!

Hee hee, I love the happy noises Sweet Potato makes when I feed him! All was good today, a little damp in the AM but beautiful this afternoon ( we won't talk about the PM, ICK!) Brought the laser toy over tonight, Lindsey didn't pay any attention to it and Atlas wasn't quite sure what to think :)
I tried to get a picture of Pretzel but as usual, he sees the camera and runs.

Molly

Yea, we had sun today!! Which of course meant that most of the day was spent playing outside. We have another doggy friend over right now- a little Chihuahua, who Molly seems to think is one of the cats ;) She loves chasing him but not to sure he enjoys it quite as much. I am off to search and see if I can figure out how to upload videos here so you can see her in action.
Molly of course sends lots of tail wags and kisses and hopes you have a fantabulous trip.

Boy did I miss everyone and I am soooo happy the puppers are home this time! We all had a great day today, although, I think Atlas is sneaking into the cat food again. Beautiful out during our afternoon walk, Atlas & Lindsey were full of energy so we got to jog for a bit :)
Pretzel was of course very affectionate (especially when it was canned food time). I'm very impressed with how much he has let you brush him!

Do not adjust your screen, yes, there is white stuff all over the ground! Even Roxie looked at me in surprise. All was well today. Of course we got lots of ball playing and scritches time in :)

Molly

Sorry this didn't post yesterday! For some reason it saved as draft instead of posting??
Ick! What a nasty day out yesterday, pretty much non stop rain!
Everyone pretty much played inside yesterday with only a bit of playtime outside- it is a bit swampy out in the yard (not that Molly minds)! She is being very well behaved and has her own favorite blanket to sleep on here, right next to my bed.

Today was quite a surprise. We were supposed to get a dusting of snow but ended up with at least 2 inches here at the house. Molly of course was in total doggy heaven! She decided she wanted to spend most of the day playing and running around in the snow. Yup, don't know how but she IS a snow dog :) I tried to get a pic of her playing in the snow but she just never stood still, lol!

Roxie & Sebastian

It has been a pretty gray and rainy day here :( Roxie did get in some good ball playtime outside before getting lots of love and scritches inside. Sebastian decided to sneak out for a bit but came back to the porch when he saw it was raining. Tomorrow at least will have some sun for us to romp in!

I think Roxie would be content to play ball all day long! It was nice out today finally and Roxie took advantage of it, rolling in the grass in total doggy abandon :)

Sebastian was quite the snuggler today also. I did let him outside with us for a bit since it was so nice out, which he enjoyed immensely.

As you can tell, Roxie found a very interesting bug in the grass earlier (ewwww)!

Molly

Too cute! Missy stopped by earlier and Molly was all wags and kisses- she knows that both Missy and myself mean treats, car rides or walks. She is one smart girl!

I was impressed, Molly slept in this morning. Usually she is up with the roosters wanting to play! She must have been totally worn out from playing all day yesterday. Her and Maddox are bestest buddies. 
Didn't get any good shots for today :(  but should have one for you tomorrow. Molly sends lots of tail wags and kisses.

Roxie & Sebastian

Sebastian was content to just look out the window today as most of the day was gray and dreary.
Roxie was too cute, she was all about the ball today- inside, outside, it didn't matter! Not the greatest shot as it is all grainy but I adore the look on her face- she is all a quiver with anticipation .

Molly

Well, Molly is right at home :) She gets so excited when she gets to go for that car ride and once she gets inside, that tail just wags a million miles a minute! Molly and Maddox have been playing pretty much non stop so I am sure they will both crash hard later tonight. As always, it is hard to get a picture of her since she is always moving and playing, lol!
I did get a quick snap when she took a brief break from playing toss and chase with the stuffed toy.

Bip & Bo

I just love the enthusiastic greeting I get each time I walk through the door! Bip is such the talker too :)
Once again it was a rainy gray day but the sun finally decided to peek through around bed time. We sat out on the porch before bed just soaking in the last bits of sun and watching the world go by.
The boys send lots of kisses and love and can't wait to see you!

Bip & Bo

Today, the boys and I had a great walk around uptown. Bip had to stop at most bushes and trees (and even a couple building corners-shhh!) to leave some pee-mail for the neighborhood dogs ;) We also spent some quality time getting brushed and I got tons of kisses from Bo.
Bip was very talkative today and we had a great "conversation". Overall, we just had alot of fun, you can even see Bip's tail wag blur in his picture!

Roxie & Sebastian

What a welcome I got this morning! Both Roxie and Sebastian met me at the door :)
Sebastian was very affectionate both visits, which I wasn't expecting from him so it was a very pleasant surprise.
Roxie and I had a great time playing ball in the yard and getting lots of lovins. She is such a sweetie! I love the picture of her, she was waiting so patiently for me to throw the ball for her.

Sebastian went out onto the porch with us each visit but didn't venture outside. It was raining on and off most the day so I don't blame him.

Bip & Bo

What absolute sweeties! All wags and kisses the first visit (and the other two as well)! We had a great day of scritches, pupper massages and a great walk on the bike trails. It was a perfect day out for our walk and we all enjoyed the warmth and sunshine.

On the night visit, I brought out my laser toy and boy was Bo fascinated by it. Bip chased it a couple times but was content to watch Bo try to figure it out. Too cute :)

Ellie & Macy

Akkk did I miss those girls!!! It was so great to spend some quality fun in the sun time :) getting lots of scritches and belly rubs. Macy cracks me up when we sit on the couch. If I dare stop petting her for a second, out comes that paw telling me "hey, whatchya stop petting me for"! Oh how I love those two.

This is my favorite picture of the day- Macy's look just tells me that this is HER sunning spot and to go find my own, she was here first :-)

Indi

Indi was sleeping when I got there today but came out briefly to check out what I was doing before going back to her chair. I did notice that she drank a bit more water out of the bathroom than in the past so I am going to check on that again tomorrow. No excessive litter box use but just so you are aware.
I know she can't wait until you come home!

Indi was back on her favorite chair today. She did come out briefly and check me out as I was scooping the box but not long enough to snag a picture. She was very talkative as usual :) but not snuggly. Ah well! Maybe one day she will stick by me long enough to get a good chin scritch in.

I caught Indi "sunning herself" under the covers today. Too funny!
She is doing good, she did come off the chair yesterday when I went later in the day so I am going to try to make most of the visits later. I know she misses you and sends kisses and headbutts :)

I am thinking that I am coming during nap time and that is why she is in her "sleepy spot" so tomorrow I am going to try going later in the afternoon and see if she is more lively around that time of day. Today was pretty much a repeat of the past couple days. Poor girl, I know she hates it when I disturb her on the chair but as I tell her, I have to see how you are doing!

Indi

Well, Indi was feeling antisocial again today. She didn't move off her chair while I was there, she did talk to me but didn't want to come out. She has been eating/drinking/using the litter box, just not while I am there. I must have been smelling extra doggy lately!
Sorry I don't have any new pictures, she actually hissed when I went to take one so I left her be. (Hmm, that's the first she has ever hissed).

Indi was hiding under the table today when I got there which I expected. It usually takes her a day or so to start coming out when I am there. We had a bit of a conversation before I left, she sure is a chatty girl.

Hope you had a great flight. I hope to have pictures for you tomorrow, I am planning on bringing my camera instead of just getting a shot from my phone so they won't look so blurry!

Kiara & Nala

I can't believe the time has flown by so quickly, I am really going to miss the girls! Nala is just the sweetest kitty once she gets to trust you. Such a chatterbox too :)

Kiara has the greatest time with the lazer toy but boy is it hard to get a picture of her in action. I did manage to get a quick shot of her sitting still and staring at the light, but for some reason I am not able to upload it tonight.

What a glorious day it was today! The girls and I spent the majority of the time in the sunroom getting scritches and just enjoying the sun. Of course we had to play with the favorite silver ribbon as well. They really love that toy :)

Indi

Today's visit was pretty much the same as yesterday. She was in her usual spot under the table when I got there. Indi and I did have a great "conversation" but she wasn't budging from that spot, even though I tried to tell her that the sun was shining and it was a great day to soak it in ;)

Kiara & Nala

Well Nala surprised me once again today. She is just as friendly as can be now and really enjoys getting her share of the attention. In fact, as I was scritching her chin, Kiara came over to get some lovins too and Nala decided that she was NOT going to share me and whapped Kiara on the head. Poor girl! She was used to getting all my attention before the last two days. Kiara had this look of complete surprise on her face as she walked away.


Oh my was it was beautiful out today. Nice and sunny and in the mid 40's so the sun coming in felt very good, the girls were loving it! I tried getting another picture of Kiara, but as I am sure you are aware, she really doesn't like to stay still- silly girl :)

Indi

Indi was in her usual spot until after I set the food out and went to scoop her box. She decided that was the exact moment that she wanted to use her box and was not happy with me being in her way. LOL, I wonder if she knows that I love her because she is such a curmudgeon ;) She reminds me of my oldest dog with her grumbling. She did brush against me on the way to eat her food so all is not lost.

Hopefully one of these days I can get a cute picture of her sleeping instead of the "go away and leave me to my peace" look!

Kiara & Nala

It is official, I am Nala's new best friend. At least until I put the food down :) She was all full of purrs and headbutts. She even bumped Kiara out of the way to get some scritches. I don't think Kiara knew what to think about that. She is still pretty shy about getting attention but if I stay in one place, she comes up for lovins. I just have to make sure not to make any sudden movements or Nala is off like a shot.

We had a great time playing with the silver ribbon, that seems to be the favorite toy right now. It was nice and sunny out today so all three of us got in some much needed sunning time, ahhhh warmth!

Indi

Indi was feeling antisocial this evening. She was in her favorite chair under the table and was very chatty until she realized it wasn't Mommy. Ah well, tomorrow will be better I am sure ;) (I don't think it helped that I smelled very doggylicious today either)!

Kiara & Nala

I am still in shock over Nala earlier. I figured she would warm up slowly, a little bit each day. I did NOT expect the talking, purring and headbutting me. Both girls and I had a great time snuggling, playing with the toys and soaking up the sun. Yep, the sun was actually out today, oh happy day :)

 

 

Molly

Molly is doing much better with the cats today, other than one. Dodger runs from her every time she comes near so she thinks it is a game. Everyone else ignores her and she ignores them :)

Molly & Maddox have had a BLAST playing today. They play and play until they are wiped out, nap and then play again.

Molly

So far so good :) It took Molly about 20 minutes to get to trust Maddox (he really is a big boy and his size alone can be intimidating) but now they are having a blast running around in the back yard!

She is also doing great with the kids, they adore her and vice versa. I don't think her tail has stopped wagging.
She did eat when everyone else did so I was happy about that! My boys don't waste time when it comes to food and I think she was aware that she should eat now rather than later ;)

As for the cats, she is interested in them and wants to play. She will play bow and bark but the cats of course ignore her. Not overly interested and she has learned not to get too close to a couple of them so far.

She send tails wags and kisses. I will get a picture of her up for you tomorrow while they are playing outside.
