Mia

Ok, it's official, Mia has me wrapped around her adorable little paws. I could lay there all day with her and snuggle. Boy does she have a motor, I can hear her as I am coming up the stairs. She of course was talking most of our visit today, telling me lots of stories :) She sends lots of kisses and purrs and can't wait for you to come home!

(I think she may be getting a little irritated with all the picture taking, like I am turning into the paparazzi.)

Zpup and the wild and crazy kitten crew

How can I not have a blast playing with Z?! She is just so spunky and always keeps me in stitches. Today after our walk, she came flying over to me and flopped (or rather threw herself) onto her back for some much needed belly rubs. She was in puppy heaven!

The kitties are all doing well. They pretty much have a routine down. I come in and get their food (we all know how impatient Callie is about waiting for her canned kitty treats). Georgie and Booboo always are there to greet me as well. Sammy & Sophie always wait until it is very quiet to come out, sneaking up the stairs and peeking around the corner. Callie keeps trying to snitch Zena's food if Z hasn't gotten to it before Callie finishes her food. Silly cat!

Kiara & Nala

Nala decided today that she wanted to get in the action as Kiara and I were playing with the ribbon, yea!! She even played for a few minutes before heading off to eat her food.

Kiara came running as soon as I came in the door, she has been my constant companion while I am there, forgoing eating until I leave. She is such the snuggler and I adore all the face nudges and rubs I get from her. I don't think it is possible to have a bad day with her around!

They both send purrs and kisses and said they hope you are having a wonderful time with your friends :)

Zena and the kitty crew

Wow, two nights in a row where everyone made an appearance. They are spoiling me! I *almost* got a shot of Sammy but he moved at the last second so it turned into a Sammy blur.
Zena and I had a blast each visit but especially this afternoon. We played fetch in the back yard and ran all over the place to get some of that energy out. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Mmmmm, snow!

Mia

I am seriously thinking about snitching Mia ;) My goodness what a sweetheart she is and she knows I am a sucker for all those headbutts! It is official, she has me wrapped around her paws.

No pictures of Mia today, we pretty much did what we do every visit- eat and then snuggle. What a rough life I have, hee hee.
Mia says she misses you and sends you lots of purrs and kisses.

I did snap a picture of Katie though so I thought I would add that here. Tell your mom Katie and the kitties were very good today (like they are ever bad!)

Kiara & Nala

The kitty girls were good today. Nala was a little more social, came up and rubbed against me a couple times. Of course that could be because I was filling the food bowls at the time :)

I took lots and lots of pictures, especially of Kiara. Most of those were blurs as she was too busy rubbing against the furniture and myself to pose for a photo op!

All is well at the house, other than we have had *more* snow! Not much but it has been blowing and drifting all over the place. Sigh... Anyway, here are the pics :)

Kiara & Nala

Kiara is just one of the sweetest kitties! She knew I was having a rough morning and she just sat with me, giving me lots of love. I adore the way she pets herself rather than having me pet her. We did play with the toys while Nala pretty much just ignored us ;)

I should have a couple pictures to upload for you tomorrow. Kiara was hard to get a shot of, she doesn't like to stay in one spot too long. Silly girl :)

I was impressed that Nala came out when I got there this morning as I wasn't expecting that. She didn't want any attention but didn't run either. On her way out the door to eat, she even brushed against me :) All in all, first visit was great and I look forward to spending more time with the girls.

Lia

Lia was sound asleep under the covers this morning. I wanted to get a picture but decided it was better to let a sleeping kitty lie :) Hopefully tomorrow I can get a quick one of her! All is well, she has been eating and drinking. No accidents in the living room or anywhere else that I could see today.

Zena and the kitty crew :)

Boy was I shocked tonight, ALL the cats came out to visit- yes, even Sophie! Granted she was only out about 2 minutes but I was impressed. Zena and Callie of course were by my side this whole evening, vying for my attention. Zena had a blast playing in the snow, myself, I am wishing we could be transported out of this great white north and into somewhere warm ;)

Someone got into a nesting type material earlier in the day, not sure where it came from but it is away from prying mouths now.

Mia

Mia was of course at the top of the stairs both visits today waiting for her canned treats. She gave me the "What took you so long?" look. Cute :) Very talkative today. We spent most of our visit in our favorite sun spot this morning, even though there really wasn't any sun to speak of.
All is well and Mia sends headbutts and purrs.

Mia

Miss Mia girl was a lovebug as always! She was waiting for me at the top of the stairs for her canned kitty treats. As soon as she was done eating, it was time for chin scritches and belly rubs. Boy does she ever purr! I could have stayed petting her and getting love all day :) I took alot of pictures of her standing but most of them came out blurry (she kept moving towards me, not one to be deterred from her attention time for something as silly as a photo shoot)! So... here is another adorable picture of her laying down :)  I love her look, she seems to be saying "Put that camera down and pet me NOW please".

Lia

Lia was pretty much how I expected today. She was upstairs in the bedroom, under the bed ;) She did crawl out from underneath but wasn't feeling photogenic so no pictures today...hopefully tomorrow but I don't want to stress her out. She did tolerate me in the bedroom, no hissing or running away so I am thrilled about that.
Hope you are having a wonderful time and it is WARM (psst, bring some back please)!

Mia

Miss Mia was good this morning (as always)! She had a bit of her canned food and then wanted scritches and some TLC. Poor girl kept shocking herself when she would head butt me though!
I took this picture of her on the last visit but I forgot to email it to you. I just love this picture of her. One of our favorite things to do if it is sunny out is just lay and soak up the warmth.
Mia sends you lots of kisses and purrs.

Harley

Can I keep him? Harley and I have had a wonderful day of walks, playing on the floor and just being silly. It was a nice day out, almost 40 and Harley wasn't as stiff as yesterday. You can tell when he has been laying down for awhile though, it takes a few minutes to get those muscles moving!

He got so excited when one of the neighborhood kids was outside running around, it was all I could do to convince Harley that we shouldn't go running after him. Gotta love that spirit! He may be a senior but he sure doesn't act or think like one.

Have a safe trip back!

Indi

Indi was feeling a bit antisocial today. She was in her favorite chair under the dining room table when I came in. She ate all her food while I was gone so at least she is comfortable enough to eat, albeit when I am not around! I did get a quick picture of her but didn't want to disturb her much as she was trying to take a cat nap while I was there. As you can tell, she was not happy to be woken up. Then again, I am pretty grouchy when I get woken up too so I don't blame her!

Harley

Hi guys! Hope your plane trip was uneventful. Harley was still stiff this morning but I expected that. He was still full of energy and tail wags for me though. Nothing gets him down! The early afternoon visit, he was favoring his right front leg for a few minutes right after he got up. I looked his leg/paw up and down. No swelling or salt in his paws. I think it was from him laying on his side and just being stiff.

The dinner visit, he was his usual energetic self, all ready for his longer walk. He kept trying to walk in the deeper snow and I kept telling him he needed to stick to the sidewalk or pathways already created. He got lots of scritches and a massage so of course he was thrilled. I love to spoil him :)
I am heading back over in a couple hours for the final potty of the night but figured I would update a little earlier in case you wanted to check in.

I tried to get a couple pictures outside during our walks but he didn't want to stand still long enough to get anything other than blurry pictures. I did get a few cute ones inside though. He is so photogenic and always seems to have a smile on his face :)

Have a great trip, I will have another update for you tomorrow. Harley sends tail wags and kisses!

I love this one- he had sit so nicely for several shots and was telling me "Ok, you had your time, give me the treat now please"! Not the greatest shot but it so captures his energy :)

Indi

Very impressed. Indi came out to greet me and talk a bit! She didn't hide once, although she did let me know that she wasn't thrilled when I got too close to her on my way to scoop the litterbox.
She didn't eat while I was there, but I pretty much expected that. All in all, first visit went alot better than I thought it would with her (I thought I would end up playing find the Indi game).
I did manage to snap a picture of her :) As you can tell, she did not enjoy the photo shoot as much as I did. I do feel honored that she even let me snap this of her though, it made my day that she didn't hide.

Puck

Puck has been enjoying his time outside. I managed to snap a quick pic as we were heading back inside to get toasty warm and have some snuggles. He is just the most endearing, sweet boy! I could snuggle with him all day! I know he can't wait for you to get home though, he sends head butts and purrs.
All is well at the house. The driveway has not tried to eat my car again, which I greatly appreciate!

Puck

Hi everyone :)
Yesterday was a very eventful day! I managed to get myself stuck at the begining of the driveway. Thankfully, your very kind neighbor helped get me unstuck.

Puck has been a very sweet and affectionate boy and quite the talker/purrbox! We did go outside for a few minutes earlier in the day. He doesn't seem to mind the cold/snow as much as I thought he would. After our time outside, Puck got to have his kitty milk so he was a very happy boy.

Hope you and Lucy are having a great time!

Ace, Colby, Rusty & Teddy

Hi guys! The pups (and Teddy Too) wanted me to pass along lots of wags and kisses. Everyone is doing good. The boys are HATING the snow and only staying out as long as it takes to go potty and then rushing back in for some snuggles to warm back up.
My computer is in the shop so sadly no pictures today :(
We of course have played zoomie racetrack and had lots of fun, then I got a bath from all three Doxie boys. Either that or they were tasting me, hee hee.

Ace, Colby, Rusty & Teddy

Computer crashed so just a quick update from my Blackberry :(
The boys were NOT impressed with all the extra snow today (at least 5 inches) and refused to go out until I shoveled a new path. Even then I ended up picking Rusty up and bringing him out. I think they pottied in record time! All is well and everyone says Yappy Anniversary, they miss you and send lots of tail wags and kisses!

Emma & Otto

Emma greeted me at the door again, I was quite surprised! She didn't stick around long enough for me to come close to petting her though :(  She did pose for a picture so it was a good night.
Otto was his usual huffy puffy self. Growled as he ate his "treats" and refused to have his picture taken. Ahh well, maybe he will be feeling more photogenic tomorrow.

Both kitties are doing fine eating and taking their meds. Haven't had to leave the house or even pretend to so there is progress. I think they secretly like me but just don't want me to know it!

As you can see, Emma is giving me the "your not my mom" look.
Hope your having a wonderful time, will have another update tomorrow night.

Ace, Colby, Rusty & Teddy

The boys were very excited to see me this afternoon. In fact, Colby was so excited, that even after he peed outside, he peed again coming inside to get scritches. Got it all cleaned up and told him in a stern voice "Buddy, ya gotta finish peeing outside before you get your scritches"! To which he promptly gave me kisses so all was forgiven :) Rusty and I of course played our favorite game of zoomie race track around the kitchen/living room. Colby joined in and Ace barked at us like we were all nuts (ok, maybe we were a little bit but we won't tell him that). Teddy all the while looked on with disdain at our goofy antics. Once the boys were in their crates, Teddy got his TLC time so he was one purrful kitty.

Hope you are having a great time and not worrying about the lovely snow heading this way. Please, pretty please, bring some warmth back with you!

Here are a couple pics I got of the boys after playtime. I took them from my phone so not the greatest quality.
